Manufacturer Provided Description

The 300 is Bayliner's most affordable twin engine cruiser. Loaded with smart features, like an available rotating helm seat and a no-hassle lifting engine cover, the 300 is perfect for longer-range cruising, with sleeping accommodations for six.

Looking for more headroom, more light and more useable space in a cruiser? Then Bayliner’s new 300SB may offer an answer.

Perhaps the most notable innovation on the new twin-engine cruiser is the large, single-level cockpit with 68 sq ft (6.32 m2) of useable space. Other cruisers have multilevel layouts that divide the seating area and create an awkward flow for entertaining. By levelling out the cockpit, passengers have plenty of space to move about, socialize and store gear. Bayliner’s spacious, comfortable seating design provides a sweeping curved lounger, a double helm seat and an L-shaped aft bench.

Another unique design element in the cockpit is that the engine hatch can be opened without moving the starboard or aft seats – or even the cockpit table when it’s in place.

The transom locker contains shore power connections and has plenty of room for fenders, lines and cleaning supplies, but there’s a difference in the transom door. It’s redesigned to follow the sleek styling of the transom wall. It’s not the typical flat door found on similar cruisers. In fact, all surfaces and decks on the 300 SB have a sheer new line that makes a bold statement – especially with large cat-eye windows.

Bayliner is the first US manufacturer to incorporate these large windows in the deck design to provide an outstanding view inside the cabin and an unprecedented amount of natural light. In other cruisers, standard portholes mean there’s usually more wall than windows. The 300 SB allows boaters to see outside with no visual obstruction. And with 6’5” (1.95m) of headroom, it’s easy to stand up and move about the cabin without obstruction.

The cabin styling aboard the 300 is as impressive as the new exterior styling. The focal point is a wraparound lounge which offers a comfortable place to beat the heat and share a meal with family and friends. The galley is designed for convenience with a two-burner electric stove, microwave, refrigerator and stainless steel sink.

The 300 SB also offers a standard CD stereo system with two cabin speakers, two cockpit speakers and a standard remote at the helm. An optional 15” flat screen TV/DVD combination can be added. When it’s time to turn in, the 300 SB offers three roomy sleeping areas – a dedicated forward v-berth with privacy curtain that sleeps two adults, a mid-berth for two with a privacy door and the wraparound dinette converts to an extra berth by adding a filler cushion.

In Bayliner’s new cabin design, the stand-up head features almost six feet of headroom, more than any other in its class. The head features a pull-out shower wand, sink, pump-out head, vanity and shower curtain.

In addition to an aggressive new profile, the 300 SB has aggressive power, too, with standard twin MerCruiser® 4.3L engines with multi-port injection (T-220hp) and Bravo III drives that reaches over 30 knots.
